The latest National Statistics for the areas identified in the Wales Spatial Plan, collated by the Welsh Assembly Government, were published on 14 December 2010 according to the arrangements approved by the UK Statistics Authority.

UK Statistics Authority Website This statistical bulletin presents separate profiles for each of the six areas identified in the Wales Spatial Plan, summarising the key features of each area from a statistical perspective.

The bulletin is informed by the wider Wales Spatial Plan data resource (first published in late 2007), which has been developed to include updates to existing data.  The updated resource  will be available on the Welsh Assembly Government website from 14 December 2010, providing access to a set of themed data spreadsheets for each of the six areas, along with a spreadsheet for each theme, showing all the areas alongside each other.
The statistical profiles and data resource cover a wide range of data items.  A very small selection of points from the individual statistical profiles is given below.
