Incident Recording System

The Incident Recording System enables the data on all incidents attended by Fire and Rescue Services to be collected electronically and verified at source.

As a result of being a fully electronic system, the Incident Recording System should deliver substantial efficiencies at all stages from recording, through validation, to outputs. Efficient recording of key data in the system is particularly helped by the automated pre-population of mobilisation details from Fire and Rescue Services' existing command and control systems. Management Information Systems are also used by Fire and Rescue Services.

The Incident Recording System Helpdesk in Hemel Hempstead deals with telephone and email queries regarding the Incident Recording System training and production systems. The Helpdesk is the single point of contact for all Fire and Rescue Services with queries on the Incident Recording System.
