Summary

This report details the investment in General Practice from 2003/04 to 2009/10.

The report draws on information obtained from country level financial monitoring reports discussed by the Technical Steering Committee (TSC), which is chaired by the NHS IC and has representation from the four UK Health Department, NHS Employers and the British Medical Association.

The large increases in investment in general practice between 2003/04 and 2005/06 have not occurred in more recent years.
