This bulletin contains key statistics relating to the economy in rural and urban areas. The indicators used have been selected because they present a ‘real-time’ picture of the rural economy, and because they are updated regularly.

Diesel and Petrol Prices in Rural England 2011-12
This statistical release covers analyses of average quarterly prices data for diesel and unleaded petrol covering the period from July 2011 to June 2012. The results show the average prices drivers paid in rural and urban areas and a comparison of fuel prices at supermarkets and other outlets.
