Cereals usage
Joint Announcement of the Agricultural Departments of the United Kingdom
The latest National Statistics on the usage of wheat, barley and oats collected through the Wheat Millers and Flour Producers, the Brewers, Distillers and Maltsters and the Oatmeal Millers Surveys produced by Defra were released on 7 February 2013 according to the arrangements approved by the UK Statistics Authority.
The release shows statistical information on the use of cereal grain, flour production and stocks of cereal by these cereal processors on a monthly and crop year basis. The flour millers data includes use of wheat for starch and bioethanol production.
