Detailed domestic tourism statistics are released by VisitEngland and appear on the VisitEngland website research pages.  VisitEngland issue both GB and England level figures based on both the Great Britain Tourism Survey and United Kingdom Occupancy Survey.  VisitScotland, Visit Wales and the Northern Ireland Tourist Board are responsible for releasing domestic tourism statistics for their respective nations.

Surveys of visits to visitor attractions are conducted by the individual national boards as well as by the Association of Leading Visitor Attractions (www.alva.org.uk).
