Welcome to the DWP statistics pages.
We publish a range of statistics that provide accurate and comprehensive information about DWP's client groups, benefits, employment programmes, estimates of households living in poverty and other areas that the Department is responsible for.
Certain publications are designated as National Statistics. These are generally DWP's most high profile statistics and are produced and released in accordance with the UK Statistics Authority's Code of Practice. These statistical releases are preceeded by abbreviation 'NS' to distinguish them from other official statistics.
