Pensioners' Incomes Series

The latest national statistics on The Pensioners' Incomes (PI) Series produced by the Department for Work and Pensions were released on 12 July 2012 according to the arrangements approved by the UK Statistics Authority.

The Pensioners' Incomes Series 2010-11 is the latest edition of the annual Pensioners' Incomes (PI) Series. It contains estimates and interpretation of trends in the levels and sources of pensioners' incomes in the UK, based on two household surveys. Information on the latest year (and the sixteen preceding years) is based on the Family Resources Survey (FRS), while historical trends are examined using the Family Expenditure Survey (FES). The latest release updates the statistics previously released on 12 May 2011.
