The Department will provide details of the new adoption and permanence module, including the coding and fields to be collected, in an email to be issued soon. This module will be collected for the first time in 2014. Data will be collected for children who start to be looked after from 1 April 2013 onwards and who had previously ceased to be looked after due to adoption, a special guardianship order or a residence order.
We are also finalising changes to the care leavers’ part of the 2014 Children Looked After collection and will be in touch with details soon.
