Head of Assessment

The post of Head of Assessment is a statutory post under the provisions of the Statistics and Registration Service Act 2007. The Head of Assessment is the Authority's principal adviser on the assessment and reassessment of official statistics and their compliance with the Code of Practice for Official Statistics.

The Authority's inaugural Head of Assessment, Richard Alldritt, retired on 31 October 2014; his successor, Ed Humpherson, will join the Authority on 8 January 2014.
