Quick Guide: Neighbourhood Summary

For the purposes of this summary, a 'Neighbourhood' is defined as a Lower Layer Super Output Area (LSOA) please see our guidance for details of Super Output Area (SOA) geography.
- Enter a postcode in the 'search' box
- Select the 'search' button
- to view the summary.
Each tab relates to a topic. Click the tab to see the information.
The Neighbourhood Summary has been compiled using a selection of data from Neighbourhood Statistics.
Due to changes in some LSOA boundaries following the 2011 Census, you may find that data in some tabs may refer to a different LSOA from another tab. This is because the data is displayed against the LSOA which was appropriate when the data was first published. Over time, as data is updated, the data will appear against the newer geographic entity. Full details of these changes can be found on the ONS 2011 Census Geography products page.
