Details

An error has been discovered in the 2015/16 report, originally published on 9th May 2017. The 2015/16 School Meals Census, carried out by the Department of Education, had been omitted from the 2015/16 Departmental return, as it had been assumed that it was out of scope. This survey, which was included in previous returns is within scope and the report is currently being amended to reflect this. The inclusion of this survey will increase the compliance cost by around £10k for 2015/16 and reduce the saving between 2014/15 and 2015/16 by around £10k. All tables and charts within the report are likely to be affected. Additional quality assurance is also being carried out. A revised report will be published within 2 weeks of the original publication date (9th May 2017).
