Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency

The Northern Ireland Statistics and Research Agency (NISRA), which incorporates the General Register Office (GRO), is an executive agency within the Department of Finance (NI). NISRA is the principal source of official statistics and social research on Northern Ireland. NISRA staff work within a wide range of Northern Ireland Government Departments and Non-Departmental Public Bodies, as well as Local Councils.
