Details

The bulletin was previously published as four separate bulletins covering beer and cider duties, spirits duties, wine of fresh grape and made wine duties, and contains information on historical and recent receipts and clearances, as well as commentary on trends of each alcohol type and duty rates in place in the United Kingdom.

The alcohol factsheet is reviewed annually and contains historic time series for clearances and receipts, a decomposition of the retail price by tax and a comparison of duty rates in the UK with European Union counterparts, all by alcohol type.
