Venture Capital Trusts statistics
Statistics on the number of Venture Capital Trusts (VCT), amount of funds raised and investors claiming tax relief on their VCT investments.
Venture Capital Trusts (VCT) are a tax-based venture capital scheme designed to help smaller higher-risk trading companies to raise finance.
VCT Official and National Statistics publications provide information on the number of trusts and the amount of funds raised. They also provide information on the number of investors and the amounts invested as reported on investors’ Self Assessment tax returns.
Background information and detailed guidance can be found in the Venture Capital Schemes Manual.
