Code of Practice for Statistics

The Office for Statistics Regulation (OSR) is refreshing the Code of Practice for Statistics (the Code) to ensure it continues to meet the needs of its wide and evolving audience. 

We are seeking feedback on our proposals for a new edition of the Code via public consultation, which will run from 23 October 2024 until 14 February 2025. We would like to hear from a wide range of people: anyone with an interest in ensuring that the Code supports data and statistics to serve the public good.
