NHS Diagnostic and Therapy Services Waiting Times: At End February 2008
The latest statistics on waiting times for specified diagnostic and therapy services (see release for details of services included) for the NHS in Wales produced by the Welsh Assembly Government were released on 9 April 2008 according to the arrangements approved by the UK Statistics Authority.
Statistics on NHS Wales Diagnostic & Therapy Services waiting times include data for all patients, irrespective of their area of residence, waiting for specified diagnostic & therapy services at Welsh NHS Trusts for the period up to the end of February 2008. The latest release updates the statistics previously released on 12 March 2008.
The Release

The key points from the latest release are:
- The number of people waiting more than 14 weeks for specified diagnostic services fell over the month from 3,289 to 1,874.
- The number of people waiting more than 24 weeks for specified therapy services fell over the month from 517 to 310.
