NHS Waiting Times: At End April 2008
The latest statistics on NHS waiting times produced by the Welsh Assembly Government were released on 28th May 2008 according to the arrangements approved by the UK Statistics Authority.
Statistics on NHS Wales waiting times for admission as an inpatient or day case and for a first outpatient appointment include data for Welsh residents waiting for NHS funded treatment as at the end of April 2008. The latest release updates the statistics previously released on 30 April 2008.
The Release

The key points from the latest release are:
- The number waiting over 22 weeks on the inpatient/day case list rose over the month from 5 to 42.
- The number waiting over 22 weeks on the outpatient list rose over the month from 0 to 13.
