- Since 2001/02 was the first year that most AVCEs could be completed, the figures have shown a large increase since 2000/01. There were over 1,300 entries to AVCE single awards and another 1,300 entries to AVCE double awards (two entries per award) completed in 2001/02.
- 73 per cent of entries to ASVCEs resulted in a pass (A-E).
- 82 per cent of entries to AVCEs resulted in a pass (A-E), with 45 per cent resulting in an A-C grade.
- The subject with the highest pass rate was the Leisure & Recreation single award, with 90 per cent of entries resulting in an A-E grade.
