This bulletin provides summary information on the National Council-ELWa's Further Education Performance Indicators for Wales.
Key results for 2001/02
- The number of Further Education students studying at Further Education institutions in Wales rose by 10 per cent over the previous year to reach 253,700.
- 47 per cent followed vocational study programmes, down slightly from 48 per cent the previous year.
- The completion rate for full-time students increased from 72 per cent to 75 per cent over this period.
- 44 per cent of full-time students continued studying Further Education (That is they continued their programme of study or took another FE programme at the same or different FE institution).
