Fire statistics are split into two main headings: fire incident and operational data.

Fire incident data

Fire incident data gives information on the numbers, motives and locations of fires, casualties, smoke alarms and false alarms. Quarterly monitor and annual statistics bulletins are produced as well as analyses of grassland and deliberate fires. Data collection is via the Incident Recording System.
