| 05/02/2013 | Publication of National and Official Statistics on State Benefits: Delay to August 2012 statistics | During the quality assurance of the August 2012 National Statistics on State Benefits an issue was discovered with the allocation of benefit claimants to geographical areas. As geographical breakdowns are commonly requested by many users, the release of the statistics has been postponed whilst the issue is resolved. The August 2012 statistics will now be published on 20th March. Consequently, the National Statistics on 20 February will include: (1) Early estimates of inactive benefit caseloads relating to December 2012, (2) Housing Benefit and Council Tax Benefit statistics to November 2012, (3) Jobseeker's Allowance Sanctions statistics to October 2012, (4) Statistics relating to other State Benefits relating to May 2012. | Stuart Grant |
