Social Housing Sales

Information on Social Housing Sales and their impact on dwelling stock. It covers the sales of local authority dwellings and sales of Registered Social Landlord (RSL) dwellings.

This information is collected in order to assess the level of social housing sales across Wales during the period.

The data is used to help monitor trends in both the overall level of Welsh housing stock and the changes in its tenure distribution over time. Data is also used by the Welsh Government and Local Authorities, as an indication as to whether housing need has been met.

Data on Social Housing Sales is collected from local authorities and registered social landlords on a quarterly basis.
