Population & migration 2013

The Office for National Statistics and the Home Office have today simultaneously published a range of demographic data. This forms part of a series of co-ordinated releases of population and migration data, and is part of a ‘coherent reporting’ programme for demographic statistics.

The Office for National Statistics (ONS) published the first outputs in the third wave of results from the 2011 Census (Release 3.1) on 16 May 2013.

The statistical bulletin produced by the Welsh Government was released on 12th March 2013 according to the arrangements approved by the UK Statistics Authority.

This bulletin was initially due to be published in March 2013 but has been postponed.

The Office for National Statistics has published on the 28th February 2013 ‘UK Electoral Statistics, 2012’ which presents statistics about those on electoral registers as at 16 October 2012(1).
