We publish monthly management information to provide more frequent and timely measures of the operation of the court and tribunal system.

The Ministry of Justice publishes quarterly official statistics relating to the operation of the criminal and civil justice systems, including courts and tribunals.

HMCTS monthly management information
A monthly release which looks at understanding the workload volumes and timeliness at a national level.

HMCTS weekly management information during COVID-19 pandemic
We published this information during the COVID-19 outbreak to help explain how we delivered critical public services, from June 2020 to June 2021. In July 2021, we paused publication of this information while we conducted a review. Following this review, we stopped publishing data on a weekly basis as this is included in the HMCTS monthly management information.

Weekly use of remote hearing technologies in HMCTS (audio and video hearings) information
We published data from April 2020 to May 2021, on the use of audio and video technologies to facilitate court and tribunal hearings, alongside face-to-face hearings. This ensured we were transparent about the use of these technologies as one of our responses to the COVID-19 crisis. We stopped this monthly release of information to focus on our HMCTS monthly management information on the impact of the pandemic on workload and timeliness at a national level across jurisdictions.
