Describes how we are going to tackle homelessness in Wales until 2019.
The Programme for Government is our plan of action. It represents a real commitment to delivery, measured by the impact government is actually having on people's lives.

Information on local housing authorities’ activities under homelessness legislation, collected through the quarterly homelessness statistical return. Data includes the number of households accepted as homeless, reasons for homelessness and the number of households in temporary accommodation.

Data on Homelessness is collected from local authorities on a quarterly basis.

Information is used by the Welsh Government, homelessness agencies and other housing organisations to monitor trends in the overall level of statutory homelessness across Wales. The information is also used to monitor the effectiveness of current policy, particularly progress against the Ten Year Homelessness Plan for Wales and the Programme for Government 2011 -2016 objectives and for future policy development.
