What we do

Our responsibilities

'Official Statistics' were brought fully under the remit of the UK Statistics Authority on 1 April 2008, in accordance with the Statistics and Registration Service Act, 2007. As part of the Act, we are responsible for ensuring compliance with the Code of Practice for Official Statistics across the Welsh Government and related bodies identified as producers of official statistics.
